My name is Lia Insco, and I am the owner of The SEE. I have always wanted to learn how to piece and quilt, as long as I can remember. I retired in 2019, to care for our little boy who had medical needs. Caring for our son required a lot of time indoors, and I thought, what better opportunity to learn how to quilt! 

Fast forward a few years, my mother past away unexpectedly. She left me a envelope titled "For Lia, Live It Up". My little Momma always told me to do more of what I love, and less of what I didn't. With her guidance from above and help from my family, The SEE became reality. Even the name of our shop, Sew Enchanting Equine, is a reminder of my Momma. She used to touch my face with both hands, and tell me "I SEE you with my eyes my daughter. The acronym of my business is a reminder of my mothers love, and she is still seeing me with her eyes. 

This project is a labor of love from my husband, my parents, and our friends who have helped us every step of the way on our journey to bring The SEE to life. 

 Within our walls, you will find a smiling face, beautiful fabric, notions, handmade hardwood clappers, class space, long arm services, and a retreat center. 

My goal is to create a quilting environment that fosters friendship, laughter, joy, community, and a place to gather for extended periods of time with like minded individuals. I cannot wait to meet you and become your Local Quilt Shop.
