12212024Train Case: Vintage Train Case Revamp!
Let's celebrate the first day of WINTER and make an adorable train case together!!
When: 21 December 2024 from 10:00 to 3:00, doors open at 9:30!!
Where: The SEE!
Instructor: Lia
Cost: $35.00, which includes your modge podge, paint brush, and spray adhesive!
What do you need? A Vintage Train Case, you have 6 months to find one! Haaaa Haaa Haaaaa. I typically find mine at Antique Stores ranging in price from $8.00 to $40.00. Make sure to inspect the inside, and find one that has the nice plastic tray. If the inside isn'nt the prettiest, that's ok, you can take out the inside lining and and use it as a template to make a new one (that's another day).
Please feel free to bring a snack to share with everyone!
You will also need to use your scraps, a cute little charm pack, mini charms, get all wonky and cut your own from your scrap box! The possibilities are endless. Save your selvages too!!!!
Tip. You will not finish this in class, but you will have a good start. Mine took me a week, and I learned a ton. Don't look at my ripples in a few places, I set it outside in the heat to dry. haaa haaa haaa
Once it is finished you can head to Hobby Lobby and get fancy ribbon if you choose to.
See you in December to ring in the first day of Winter!! This class may get rescheduled due to incliment weather. If so, you can choose to attend, or I can refund your class fee minus 5%, You may cancel within 14 days notice and recieve a full refund minus my 5% restock fee.
